Why join the Policy Working Group?
"The IOE Policy Working Group on Employment, Skills and Digitalisation promotes knowledge and understanding of policies that can bring more people into labour markets, by (a) identifying and examining key forces that are reshaping the future of work and of skills, and (b) maximising opportunities for work to support doing business, creating jobs, formalising the informal, and improving communities. It is an opportunity for the business community to focus on practical measures to better equip our fellow citizens, particularly our young people, to secure the dignity and opportunity that work provides and to genuinely engage with best practices and effective policy priorities. The Working Group also provides a forum for the global employer community to share best practices and national experiences, contemporary research and analysis, to refine and inform policy thinking and messaging, introduce global perspectives and to equip the business community nationally and globally to influence sound and effective policy and priorities. Our aim is to equip as many IOE members as possible to have a positive, constructive impact on employment, skills and the future of work to improve outcomes for those they represent and their communities."
