IOE @ the 2024 UN High-level Political Forum on SDGs

With the HLPF 2024 fast approaching, we encourage IOE's network to take note of major events for the business community.

Under the theme "Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions," the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) will be held in UNHQ in New York and online from Monday 8 July to Wednesday 17 July 2024, under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council.

In 2024, the HLPF will conduct an in-depth review of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 1, Goal 2, Goal 13, Goal 16 and Goal 17 while maintaining the integrated and interlinked nature of all SDGs.

The International Organisation of Employers (IOE), with its extensive network of 150 employer and business membership organisations, will organise and participate in a range of events closely linked to the Forum or happening alongside it. From dynamic discussions to thought-provoking side events, IOE members and senior professionals will enrich the Forum with their invaluable insights.

The private sector’s key participation in the Forum includes:
