ILO's Inaugural Forum of the Global Coalition for Social Justice

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is hosting the Inaugural Forum of the Global Coalition for Social Justice in June 2024, in parallel with the annual International Labour Conference. This launch event aims to bring together diverse stakeholders to discuss and promote initiatives for social justice worldwide. The Global Coalition for Social Justice focuses on promoting equitable economic growth, fair labor practices, and social inclusion. By fostering collaboration between governments, employers, and workers, the coalition aims to create sustainable and resilient societies.

The International Organisation of Employers (IOE) in its role as the Secretariat of the Employers’ Group at the ILO, leads the business engagement in the Coalition. IOE is dedicated to representing the business community's interests within the coalition, advocating for policies that support both economic growth and social equity. By engaging businesses in the coalition's efforts, IOE aims to foster dialogue, share best practices, and develop practical solutions to enhance social justice globally.
