Sommet du B20 Brésil 2024

The B20 Summit, taking place in São Paulo, Brazil, in October 2024, brings together global business leaders to provide policy recommendations to the G20. The summit will focus on critical issues such as sustainable economic growth, digital transformation, trade, and the future of work. Through a series of panels and discussions, the B20 aims to address the challenges of technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and inclusive workforce development..

The International Organisation of Employers (IOE) will be actively participating in the B20 Summit with IOE President, Jacqueline Mugo, bringing the voice of business to two key events, contributing to discussions on the future of work, human capital development, and inclusive growth.

Jacqueline Mugo’s participation includes:

• 23 October 2024 – The Work We Want Summit (side event)
  Organised by the World Employment Confederation (WEC), this summit will explore critical topics in the evolving labor market, including diversity, inclusion, flexible work environments, and women in leadership roles. Key discussions will focus on how businesses and the private employment services industry are shaping the future of work in the context of a post-pandemic global economy. • 24 October 2024 – Panel "Unlocking the Human Capital Potential: How to Protect, Build and Empower People in the Face of Global Challenges"
  Co-organised by the B20 and the Brazilian Confederation of National Industry (CNI), this panel will address the challenges and opportunities of preparing for the future of work, ensuring a diverse and adaptable workforce, and fostering innovation for sustainable growth. Jacqueline Mugo will join other global leaders to discuss the role of businesses and governments in empowering people amid environmental and technological changes​.
