The August edition of the IOE newsletter on Business and Human Rights (BHR) is out, bringing essential updates and recent developments at international, regional, and local levels. 

This new edition presents recent global developments including the latest from the 112th International Labour Conference, offering insights on discussions about Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the agreed tripartite conclusions on living wages, updates on the ILO Global Coalition for Social Justice, and the ILO Global Business Network on Forced Labour. It also includes the newest information on the UN BHR Treaty Process and the appointment of a new member to the UN Working Group on BHR. 

This edition also provides a detailed outline of current and forthcoming EU legislative developments related to human rights due diligence, reporting standards, deforestation, forced labour, and climate change.
